As the region prepares to mark 25 years since the Sept. 11 attacks, a longstanding tradition has returned to Bucks County’s 9/11 Memorial Garden of Reflection.

Walls of Reflection Reinstalled

The Walls of Reflection were returned to the memorial garden in Lower Makefield Township on Monday morning. The walls provide a place for visitors to leave messages to loved ones lost in the attacks, as well as prayers and tributes honoring those affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

The garden commemorates all victims of the attacks and gives special recognition to the 18 victims from Bucks County.

A Place for Remembrance

The return of the Walls of Reflection allows community members to share memories and pay tribute as the anniversary of the attacks approaches. Visitors can now write personal messages, reflections, and notes of remembrance on the walls ahead of the 25th anniversary.

Local residents and families connected to the tragedy are expected to visit the memorial in the days leading up to the anniversary, adding their own tributes to the ever-growing collection of messages honoring the lives lost.
