As the region prepares to mark 25 years since the Sept. 11 attacks, a longstanding tradition has returned to Bucks County’s 9/11 Memorial Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield Township.
The Walls of Reflection Return
The Walls of Reflection were reinstalled at the memorial garden on Monday morning. These walls give visitors a space to leave messages for loved ones lost in the attacks, along with prayers and tributes honoring everyone affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
A Place of Remembrance
The Garden of Reflection commemorates all victims of the attacks and gives special recognition to the 18 victims from Bucks County. With the walls back in place, community members can share memories and pay tribute as the anniversary approaches.
Honoring the Anniversary
The return of the walls marks the beginning of a season of reflection for the local community. As the 25th anniversary nears, the memorial continues to serve as a gathering place where residents can honor those who perished and reflect on the lasting impact of that day.
