Three people were injured in a shooting Saturday night in Wilmington, and police are now investigating the incident. The gunfire erupted just before 7 p.m. along D and Townsend Streets.
Victims Identified
Wilmington police say the shooting left three victims with gunshot wounds:
- A 31-year-old man
- A 19-year-old man
- A 21-year-old woman
All three were transported to a nearby hospital and remain in stable condition.
Scene Investigation
Video from the area shows more than a dozen evidence markers scattered across the scene as detectives worked to piece together what happened. A home surveillance camera captured the sound of gunshots, followed by people fleeing the area.
No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
